ABOUT

Paloma Pérez is a New York–based creative director, stylist, costume designer, and visual storyteller whose work exists at the intersection of fashion, identity, and culture. Raised on the West Coast and shaped by the creative energy of New York City, she brings a cinematic approach to image-making, drawing inspiration from nightlife, subculture, music, and the transformative power of personal style.

A graduate of Columbia University, Paloma has contributed to global social media campaigns and has been featured in publications including OUT, NPR, and THEM. Her work spans editorial and commercial styling, creative direction, costume development, and character-driven visual worldbuilding, with a focus on crafting narratives through clothing, texture, silhouette, and atmosphere.

Her costume and design work has appeared on RuPaul's Drag Race and she has contributed to productions and projects connected to Broadway, the Met Gala, and international exhibitions, including work currently represented in a museum exhibition in Berlin. Deeply influenced by New York’s queer nightlife scene, Paloma is a multi-title pageant queen, nationally recognized showgirl, and two-time nominee for Best Nightlife Designer at the NYC Nightlife Awards.  These experiences continue to inform her distinctive visual language—one that blends glamour, grit, fantasy, and authenticity.

Whether developing a character’s wardrobe, shaping a campaign’s visual identity, or styling for editorial and performance, Paloma approaches every project with a storyteller’s eye and a belief that fashion is one of the most powerful tools for self-expression and transformation.

Paloma is particularly drawn to projects that challenge convention and celebrate individuality, collaborating with artists, brands, and productions that value bold visual storytelling. With an intuitive understanding of character, emotion, and aesthetics, she creates imagery that feels both timeless and deeply personal—building worlds that leave a lasting impression long after the first look.
